History Honours

The requirements for entry into single Honours in History are:

1. Completion of the requirements of a Bachelor pass degree in an Arts area.

2. Completion of a History major (42 units) plus a further 3 later year courses (18 units) from the History major, including:

   i. HIST2110 - History and Theory, and;

   ii. HIST2139 - Researching and Writing History (previously HIST3006).

3. A Distinction average across all required later year courses.

Combined Honours

The requirements for entry into combined Honours in History are:

1. Completion of the requirements of a Bachelor pass degree in an Arts area. 

2. Completion of a History major (42 units) plus a further later year course (6 units) from the History major, including:

   i. HIST2110 - History and Theory, and;

   ii. HIST2139 - Researching and Writing History (previously HIST3006).

3. A Distinction average across all required later year courses.
