| Learning Outcomes: |
By the end of this course you should be able to:
- demonstrate an understanding of the fundamentals of introduced workshop processes, procedures, languages and equipment
- work in an exploratory fashion with introduced workshop materials
- identify relevant historical/theoretical issues
- show familiarity with research methodologies
- show awareness of personal and shared responsibilities of the artist regarding O H & S requirements and procedures and studio management

| Indicative Assessment: |
Portfolio of studio work (80%) and Journal/Documentation/Studio Theory presentation (20%). Assessment includes periodic critique and review sessions that provide ongoing feedback on work in progress. |
| Workload: |
6 hours per week lectures, tutorials, critiques and supervised studio practice and 3 hours per week independent studio practice. |
