Course Description:

A continuation of the work in Modern Chinese 5 (CHIN3022) and an introduction to the original complex forms of simplified Chinese characters and language variation used in Taiwan.

Learning Outcomes:

A sophisticated and confident ability with spoken and written Chinese

Indicative Assessment:

Assignments (15%), mid-term examination (30%), oral examination (15%), final examination (40%)

Four contact hours per week
