Further readings in Classical Chinese history, philosophy and poetry from various periods. |
| Learning Outcomes: |
1. To acquire advanced command of Classical Chinese and its syntax. 2. To acquire further skills of literary translation from Classical Chinse into English. 3. To be knowledgable about a range of issues, both theoretical and methodological, pertaining to Chinese Studies/Sinology 4. To develop advanced skills in the use of a range of Chinese and English language Sinological bibliographical and other reference tools 5. To have applied these various skills, understandings and methodologies to specific topics in the Sinological field |
