| Course Description: |
(As for Advanced Readings in Chinese A) This course guides advanced students in extensive reading and in analysis and discussion of Chinese texts in a field of specialisation. The content of the course will be determined in the light of students’ specific needs and the availability of teaching, and will prepare students for independent research in their field. |
| Learning Outcomes: |
It is expected that students should be able to conduct in-depth analysis on current major issues relating to China and Australia and make quality multi-media seminar presentations on selected topics relating to China and Australia in both Chinese and English. |
| Indicative Assessment: |
One book review of 1000 words (20 per cent); one seminar presentation and related essay of 1000 words (30 per cent); one essay of 2000 words (40 per cent); classroom performance 10%.
