Course Description:

Follow on from Cantonese A and completes the introduction to Cantonese. Students who successfully complete the two-course program will have a working knowledge of Cantonese.

Indicative Assessment:

Graduate students attend joint classes with undergraduates but may expect more rigorous assessment and additional assignment work, tailored to the graduate student’s interests.

Workload: Thirty three contact hours per semester

Requisite Statement:

Cantonese A CHIN6201 or permission of lecturer. Native speakers of Cantonese are not eligible. Unless exempted by the Graduate Program Convener, all graduate students must enrol concurrently in the course Graduate Language Supplement EAST8024 which usually includes a written assessment piece of several thousand words
