| Course Description: |
A thesis of 25000-30000 words on an approved topic. Students are required to select the topic for the thesis in consultation with the Convener . A supervisor will meet with the student at regular intervals to offer feedback and discuss progress. |
| Learning Outcomes: |
With the completion of the thesis the student will have read deeply in and given a thought to a particular field of classical world studies. He/she will also have developed skills in collecting, reading, analysing and evaluating evidence; formulating an argument; and writing up the discussion in clear and readable prose. |
| Indicative Assessment: |
The thesis, to be examined by two assessors, is 100% of the assessment. |
