| Course Description: |
This course of concentrated study by coursework and individual practice is a continuation of the 3D digital animation study program delivered in the first semester.
Students are encouraged to expand their digital practice beyond the technical processes delivered in lectures and tutorials and develop their conceptual skills. Storytelling, narrative and performance fundamentals will be explored and their application to 3D animation discussed. The focus of the semester will be to apply these skills in the production of a truly original major work in 3D animation.

Proposed Assessment: Assessment is by assignments and a final presentation of the major project to the assessment panel.

| Workload: |
All sessions take place in a computer laboratory:
3.5 hours of seminar / studio practice per week
Students are expected to do at least an extra 4 hours of studio practice each week |
