Course Description:

A selection of special topics may be offered if there is sufficient demand in any one year. 

Certain courses are also intended to cater for students in other disciplines who wish to complement their studies with appropriate geology courses. It will not be possible to mount courses in all these fields each year; consequently, students who wish to take advantage of the flexibility offered will be required to make appropriate arrangements with the Head of Department and relevant members of the teaching staff before the start of each semester.

Note: Graduate students attend joint classes with undergraduates but will be assessed separately.
