Course Description:

(a) Acquisition of further 180 kanji
(b) composition and reading comprehension of short passages (600 ji) on various topics.

Learning Outcomes: At the end of the course students should have developed practical ability in reading and writing Japanese: composition and reading comprehension of short passages on various topics and 180 kanji.
Indicative Assessment:

Periodic tests (30%), Assignment work (40%), and a final examination (30%), to be confirmed towards the end of semester.
