Students will be exposed in more detail to the theory and practice of assessment and selection in relation to many aspects of an individual's career and organisational functioning from selection, to performance management and training, through to retention of talent. Academics and professionals will cover these areas over a series of sessions focusing on (a) job analysis and design; (b) attraction, selection, and retention of staff; (c) performance management; and (d) identifying and implementing training needs.
