Associate Degree Specialising in Science (ANU/CIT)

Learn from two of the best! The Canberra Institute of Technology and the Australian National University are offering a joint Associate Degree in Science. This qualification is one of the first of its kind in Australia.

The two year program will see students study university-type subjects at CIT and provide graduates with the potential to progress to a Bachelor of Science degree at ANU. Successful completion of the Associate Degree, with at least a credit average across all courses at CIT and at least passes in ANU courses, will ordinarily guarantee students direct admission to ANU Bachelor of Science program with 72 units of credit.

Depending on the electives chosen, students will be well prepared for further study in Botany, Ecology and Evolution, Genetics or Resource and Environmental Management.
