The three-year BSc (Resource and Environmental Management) degree, and associated Honours program, is designed to educate environmental scientists and natural resource managers to meet the sustainability challenges and opportunities of the coming century. The Resource and Environmental Management Program and BSc(Res&EnvMan) degree link the natural and social sciences with their applications in environmental conservation and sustainable resource management. Because the BSc(Res&EnvMan) degree is so flexible, prospective students should consult the Program Convener prior to developing their individual program and associated streams.

The curriculum comprises a core of natural and social sciences courses relevant to environmental conservation and sustainable resource management. The degree emphasises experiential and field based learning, and combines broadly based environmental education with focused professional development and opportunities for specialisation.
