The normal time for completion of a combined program is five years for full-time pass students. The length of the combined program makes part-time study inadvisable and the two faculties will examine such applications carefully. The program is structured so that a full-time student will normally complete the requirements for the degree of Bachelor of Arts after four years' study and the degree of Bachelor of Laws one year later. Students intending to apply to transfer from the Bachelor of Arts to the combined program in Arts and Law after completion of first year are advised to consult program advisers in both faculties.
