The Graduate Diploma in Economic History allows students to deepen their knowledge of economic history and to take the opportunity to write an extended piece of original research. Admission Requirements Applicants must have the equivalent of a Bachelor degree in economics or related subjects from an appropriate Australian university with an average of 70%. For overseas qualifications the relative standing of the university may be taken into consideration. As an indication, equivalent overseas grades include a GPA of 3.2 on a 4.0 scale or a First Class degree. Applicants who do not have an adequate economics and/or quantitative background are usually required to undertake some preliminary coursework in these areas in order to be eligible for admission. Commonwealth Supported Places The ANU College of Business and Economics offers a limited number of 'HECS-Style' Scholarships in the form of Commonwealth Supported Places (CSP) for Australian students in postgraduate programs. The CSP awards are competitive. Please refer to the College's Graduate Scholarships website for further information. |
