The Graduate Diploma in International Affairs (GDIA) is designed for those who are seeking academic preparation for a career in international affairs with an Asia-Pacific focus, whether in diplomacy, the civil service, teaching, journalism, or business. The GDIA also provides a stepping-stone to the Master of International Affairs or Master of Arts (International Relations) on attainment of a pass with merit (distinction average). Admission Requirements Applicants for the GDIA should normally have obtained a 'very good' Bachelor degree. Although a degree in the social sciences would be an advantage, degrees in other areas will be considered. As a guide, 'very good' normally refers to an A/B+ average and above, or distinction average and above. For further information, please see the Graduate Studies in International Affairs web site. |
