The Graduate Certificate in Environmental Management and Development is designed to meet the needs of candidates who wish to extend their understanding of key approaches to environmental management and development, but have limited time or resources. Professionals, often including policymakers from a range of academic backgrounds, such as economics, natural sciences, engineering or social sciences, select courses from both compulsory and elective courses offered by the Environmental Management and Development Program. |

Prerequisites
Normally a university degree is required in a relevant discipline, for example, Economics, Social Anthropology, Biological Sciences, Engineering or Geography. In exceptional cases, students with other tertiary qualifications and relevant experience may be admitted. |
