Semester 2 (July) commencement is permitted for international students and full-time Australian students seeking a Finance specialisation in instances whereby the student has already completed a recognised major in Finance through an undergraduate degree, or alternatively has completed some Finance subjects through an undergraduate degree (to be assessed on a case-by-case basis by the Program Coordinator). Part-time Australian students are permitted to commence in the Semester 2 (July) intake with no academic background in Finance. This 1 year degree program provides in-depth coverage of the core areas of business and commerce and assumes little or no existing background or knowledge. The Master of Business is designed for: - Students who want a ‘conversion' option to move from a background of little or no business study to a basic knowledge of skills relevant to business and commerce
- Students who have a business degree but who want to re-train in a different area of commerce or wish to develop higher-level skills in their chosen discipline.
Candidates who have appropriate prior qualifications and are seeking professional accounting accreditation may be able to satisfy educational requirements for entry to the CPA program or the ICAA's Chartered Accounting Foundations program. Students who achieve the required grades in completing a year of full-time study within the Master of Business may transfer to the more advanced Master of Commerce program. All graduate coursework for domestic students in the ANU College of Business and Economics is offered under Domestic Tuition Fee places. Australian citizens may defer the payment of their fees using FEE-HELP, however should be aware that the programs are not eligible for Commonwealth Supported Places and HECS-HELP. Information on FEE-HELP and eligibility requirements is available from http://www.goingtouni.gov.au/ |
