| This program is designed for graduate students that wish to further their academic qualifications in chemistry via a coursework rather than a research based program. It is ideally suited for practising chemists that require or desire a higher degree in chemistry that is not specifically geared towards entry into a doctorate program. The program, however, does have a compulsory research proposal and project component as its centrepiece. This will enable all graduate students in the program to have the opportunity to undertake a research project in one of the many cutting edge research groups in the Discipline of Chemistry. Another key feature of the program is its inbuilt versatility - it has a suite of electives that will allow specialisation in a range of areas in chemistry e.g. medicinal chemistry, materials chemistry, etc. |
