  <introduction>&lt;p&gt;The Master of Diplomacy Combined Degree Program is a key under-taking of the &lt;a href="http://apcd.anu.edu.au"&gt;Asia-Pacific College of Diplomacy&lt;/a&gt; and is composed of two Master degrees.  The first Master Degree can be in a range of specified areas in which a knowledge of contemporary diplomacy would be an advantage.  (This first degree is referred to as your ?field of study? Master Degree.)&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p&gt;Areas of study which can be covered in the field of study degree include: International Relations, Strategic Affairs, International Law, Middle Eastern &amp;amp; Central Eastern Studies, Public Policy, International &amp;amp; Development Economics, Asia-Pacific Studies or Environmental Development.&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p&gt;The Master of Diplomacy/Master of Public Policy specialising in Development Administration or International Policy is one of these combined degree options and is composed of &lt;strong&gt;coursework only&lt;/strong&gt;.&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p&gt;The Program is ideal for those whose professional role involves a solid understanding of transnational diplomacy, and its contemporary challenges, whether this be with a civil service department, multilateral body, international corporation or non-government organization.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Admission Requirements&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;For admission to the Master of Diplomacy/Master of Public Policy specialising in Development Administration or International Policy Program, applicants must satisfy the &lt;a href="http://info.anu.edu.au/StudyAt/050PP_Graduate_Coursework/_AOI_Policy_and_Governance.asp"&gt;Master of Public Policy specialising in Development Administration or International Policy Admission Requirements&lt;/a&gt;.&lt;/p&gt; </introduction>

  <pre-requisites>&lt;p&gt;For admission to a combined program which includes the MDipl, an applicant must satisfy the criteria for admission to the related Field of Study degree whose coursework comprises the first part of the combined program.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;To be permitted to enter the MDipl component of the combined program, an applicant must complete the coursework requirements of the related Field of Study degree with a distinction average across all courses.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Students enrolled in a &amp;lsquo;Field of Study&amp;rsquo; degree as a separate enrolment may transfer to the relevant combined program provided that the first degree has not been awarded.&lt;/p&gt;</pre-requisites>
  <requirements>&lt;p&gt;Although students enter into the Master of Diplomacy Combined Degree Program from the beginning of their studies, they can only proceed into the Master of Diplomacy upon gaining a distinction average in the coursework of their Master of Public Policy.&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p&gt;Students are then awarded both degrees at a single award ceremony.&lt;/p&gt;</requirements>
