<p> </p><p>Intermediate Turkish A is designed for students who can already read and understand paragraphs of a fair length and also write short paragraphs in present, past and future tenses using with gerunds. The course will further cover the use of verb active, auxiliary verbs, participles, indirect speech, causative gerunds, and gerunds of time. Due to the nature of Turkish language the use of relevant suffixes with the verbs will be explained within sentences. The course will include comprehensive reading passages of a fair length. </p><p>Students are required to attend language laboratory sessions and listen to the recordings on the WebCT (one hour a week) and hand in their Work Book for correction.</p><h1> </h1><p> </p>

<strong>LEARNING OUTCOMES</strong> <p>The students at the end of this course (Intermediate Turkish A) will be able to write sentences in present, past and future tense as well as change them into indirect speech. They will be able to read passages of a fair length.</p>
