  <introduction>&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Commencement: &lt;/strong&gt;Semester 1 (February). &lt;em&gt;Semester 2 (July) commencement is available for students with a finance/accounting or statistics background.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/em&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;The Graduate Certificate in Financial Management program is designed for students who wish to:&lt;/p&gt;&lt;ul&gt;&lt;li&gt;develop a greater understanding of financial management principles and their application&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;improve analytical skills for interpreting and analyzing financial information&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;gain greater insight in to the Australian and International Financial markets, instruments and institutions&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;increase management skills for dealing with organizations, teams and policy issues&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;expand their applied knowledge in various specialized areas of financial management&lt;/li&gt;&lt;/ul&gt;&lt;p&gt;The program can be expanded into the&amp;nbsp;[Master of Financial Management|7406XMFINM] program by suitable students. The Graduate Certificate suits professionals how do not have the time to devote to the full masters program.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;All graduate coursework for domestic students in the ANU College of Business and Economics is offered under Domestic Tuition Fee places.&amp;nbsp;Australian citizens may defer&amp;nbsp;the payment of their fees using FEE-HELP, however should be aware that the programs are not eligible for Commonwealth Supported Places and HECS-HELP.
