  <admission-requirements>&lt;p&gt;i. Applicants will be required to hold a pass (Bachelor) degree from an Australian university or overseas equivalent.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;ii. Performance in the last two years of the degree is required to be at an average of 65% or better (or equivalent).&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;iii. Students who fail to meet the academic entry requirement above may be considered for entry if they are able to demonstrate at least one year of full-time relevant work experience which was undertaken after graduation from their degree.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;iv. The suitability of the students to enter the program will be at the discretion of the Dean.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;v. Students entering the program are required to have an understanding of mathematics at university level including calculus and algebra.   <introduction>&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Commencement: &lt;/strong&gt;Semester 1 (February). &lt;em&gt;Semester 2 (July) commencement is available for part-time students only.&lt;/em&gt; &lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;The two year Master of Finance provides an opportunity for students who come into the graduate program with no background in finance to reach an advanced level of academic study. The program offers graduates a strong grounding in finance theory and provides a direct link into the PhD program.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Graduates who have completed a major in finance in an undergraduate degree who seek to continue their discipline study at an advanced level in a postgraduate award will be provided the opportunity to enter the two year program at an advanced level of study.&amp;nbsp; Refer to the Program Convenor for eligibility criteria.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;All graduate coursework for domestic students in the ANU College of Business and Economics is offered under Domestic Tuition Fee places.&amp;nbsp;Australian citizens may defer&amp;nbsp;the payment of their fees using FEE-HELP, however should be aware that the programs are not eligible for Commonwealth Supported Places and HECS-HELP.   <requirements>&lt;p&gt;Students must pass and achieve a grade average of 70% across the first 48 units attempted to progress to the second year of the program or to another Faculty 2 Year Masters program. Students who fail to achieve this requirement will be transferred to the&amp;nbsp;&lt;a href="/programs/7406XMFINM;overview.html"&gt;Master of Financial Management&lt;/a&gt;&amp;nbsp;program with 48 units of status.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;h3&gt;Degree Structure&lt;/h3&gt;&lt;p&gt;The program is 96 units consisting of 84 units of core courses and 12 units of elective courses.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;The program will be a combination of intensive mode and semester length courses.
