  <introduction>&lt;p&gt;Students who have completed the single year Master of Computing degree may undertake an additional year with a focus on research training to also obtain the Masters at an Honours level and exit with an Honours grade (H1, H2A/H2B). Suitably qualified students can get direct entry into the advanced research focused component of this program and be awarded the single Masters with the Honours grade.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;All students who complete the Master of Computing or Master of Computing Honours are eligible for professional membership with the Australian Computer Society conditional upon them undertaking a project.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Two year &amp;#39;Double Degree&amp;#39; Masters options:&lt;/strong&gt; &lt;a href="http://feit.anu.edu.au/Masters_DoubleDegree_options.php"&gt;http://cecs.anu.edu.au/students/future/graduate/MastersDoubleDegree&lt;/a&gt;&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt; </introduction>

  <requirements>The Master of Computing with honours requires the completion of an additional 48 units of courses, including:&lt;br /&gt; &lt;br /&gt; (a) completion of 24 units of research project courses as follows:&lt;br /&gt; &amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; &lt;br /&gt; &amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; COMP8800 Computing Research Project; and&lt;br /&gt; &lt;br /&gt; (b) completion of a further 24 units of 8000-series or &amp;#39;advanced&amp;#39; computing courses.&lt;br /&gt; &lt;br /&gt; Computing courses are:&lt;br /&gt; &amp;nbsp; - COMP courses&lt;br /&gt; &amp;nbsp; - Computer science relevant courses from other areas of the University that are approved by the program convenor.</requirements>
