  <course-description>Students will conduct a small research project, under supervision.&amp;nbsp; This will give them experience in research in an area of interest in computer science.&amp;nbsp; The activities in the course will normally include some combination of reading, writing, project work and presentation as appropriate to the topic.&amp;nbsp; The learning objectives, project overview and assessment arrangements will be specified at the outset using the Department of Computer Science form &amp;#39;Independent Study Contract&amp;#39;.</course-description>
