The degree should be in any discipline of the social sciences or the humanities. <p>The Master of International Affairs (MIA) is designed for those who are seeking preparation for a career in international affairs with an Asia-Pacific focus, whether in diplomacy, the civil service, teaching, journalism or business. It is a 'professional' master-by-coursework degree taken over two semesters full time.</p>

Master of International Affairs
<p>This is a 48-unit coursework program (without thesis) completed over two semesters full-time study or at least four semesters part-time. This option draws on the coursework of the MAIR and on the experience of the faculty and administrative staff of the MAIR.
