(Such students will need to meet the chemistry prerequisite).&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;Students who wish to major in Biochemistry take CHEM1014 in Semester 1 and take BIOL1004 in Semester 2. (Such students will need an ACT minor in Chemistry.) Students must consult the Head of the School of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology before enrolling in BIOL1004.&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;Students pursuing majors in other science disciplines (for example, Psychology, Resource Management and Environmental Science) take Group A courses in their chosen discipline to the value of 12 units (e.g. PSYC1001, ENVS1001/ENVS1008) in their first year.&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;Students majoring in Computer Science should take COMP2300.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/li&gt;&lt;/ol&gt;</degree-structure>

  <requirements>&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Science:&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Science courses to the value of at least 96 units taught in or approved by the&amp;nbsp;Colleges of Science including:&lt;/p&gt;&lt;ul&gt;&lt;li&gt;no more than 36 units of Group A courses&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;the completion of a science major&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;48 units of later year courses, including no fewer than 36 units of Group C courses.&lt;/li&gt;&lt;/ul&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Engineering:&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;The requirements of the Bachelor of Engineering program as listed in the entry for the&amp;nbsp;College of Engineering&amp;nbsp;and Computer Science or &lt;a href="http://cecs.anu.edu.au/students/future/undergrad/BEng"&gt;http://cecs.anu.edu.au/students/future/undergrad/BEng&lt;/a&gt;.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Admission to the degree of Bachelor of Science requires:&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;ul&gt;&lt;li&gt;total of 144 units including:&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;not less than 96 units of Science courses as defined above.&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;further courses to the value of not less than 48 units taught in, or approved by, either of the relevant Colleges.&lt;/li&gt;&lt;/ul&gt;&lt;p&gt;No more than 48 units of first year courses may be counted if admission to the BSc occurs before the combined program requirements have been completed.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Admission to the degree of Bachelor of Engineering requires:&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;At least 192 units which satisfy the requirements for the Bachelor of Engineering program.&lt;/p&gt;</requirements>
